Job Summary:
We are looking for fun, outgoing, and energetic individuals to join our roster of amazing mascots for our three sports teams. This position will include acting as a team mascot at games and events within our community. This means interacting with fans, cheering on our teams, getting the crowd excited at key moments in the game, and performing as a focal point of our in-game entertainment and overall fan experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Learn & adapt your mascot persona
- Arrive early prior to games & events to review your script and rehearse your performance.
- Interact with fans by giving high-fives & hugs, pose for photos, dance, and cheer on the home team.
- Perform for the crowd during on-ice and on-field activations.
- Represent the team at community events such as parades, children’s festivals, and parties.
Skills & Qualifications
- Outgoing, energetic, and friendly are non-negotiables!
- Physically fit. Wearing a mascot costume while performing, dancing, and running around the arena or stadium is a workout!
- Flexible schedule. Ability to work days, evenings, or weekends. Mascot events happen at all times in the calendar.
- General sports knowledge an asset.
- Previous mascot experience also an asset.
- Must be 18 years of age.
